How We Do This…

Firstly, with the help of community leaders, i.e., clergy, teachers and police we will have a direct line to those who may be suffering in silence and could benefit from charitable offerings in the form of food, school supplies and other identified necessities.

Direct Outreach…

Once notified, volunteers will deliver necessities to the needy in cases of food insecurity.Not only would this deliver needed staples in time of crisis but also establish that sense of belonging and community that many have lost.

We Support Others That Support the Needy…

By filling in financial ‘gaps’ and building on what other Town services and Support groups need, the Friends of Watertown will seek to maintain cherished traditions that foster hope.
